Enter The Tittieverse: A Review on The NFTits Club
Introduction
As an avid NFT collector and educator, I find myself connecting with the most creative and innovative projects. I had the pleasure of connecting with the creator of a new women led NFT project, The NFTits Club! Now for the prudes, do not let the word tits fool you! This project is focused on women empowerment and body positivity for women of all shades, sizes, and backgrounds.
About The Creator
The creator and founder, Billie Van Der Veen, was born and raised in The Canary Islands. For my readers that have never been to that part of the world, The Canary Islands is located off the coast of Spain. During our conversation, Billie described her life on the island prior to her move to London, England. She told me that the island is incredibly open, and the residents are free-spirited, kind and loving. Also, they are open to nudity, and it is common to see women being nude or topless on the beach. When she moved to London, she noticed the change and had to adjust to living in a big city, which proved to be a huge culture shock. Therefore, the idea of The NFTits Club came to life.
About The Project
This is the first women-led project that focuses on removing the censorship and allowing women to be comfortable in their skin through the encouragement of body positivity, empowerment, and support for women. The project will be available for pre-sale on April 6th (available for tittielisted addresses) and the public sale will be held on April 8th, which will consist of 7,777 pieces. Their art is beautifully set up and eye catching, which makes this project more appealing to get into. Furthermore, the team is committed to social impact and charity, therefore 30% of the proceeds will be donated to charities that are focused on women’s health, career development and rights.
Why Do I Love This Project?
From my personal experience as a woman of color with an Islamic background, I was always raised to cover up and behave in a way that was appropriate for my culture. However, as I became older, I realized that I did not feel comfortable living up to the expectations of others and I was able to find my own voice as a woman. This project will not only empower women to feel beautiful and free in their own skin. I would highly recommend joining their discord first to get a feel for their community.
